Final Fantasy xiii, The Thing (2011)

after 2 weeks i have borrowed the latest final fantasy from my friend, i didn't realized i have reached the final boss. Although i prefer the battle system for this installment from the last, the game progress is pretty much linear. Since you don't have a party transportation, whatever area is visited cannot be revisited again. which i think won't give as much lasting appeal as previous series.
finally, got to catch the prequel of 'the thing' last night. the original movie gave me nightmares when i was a kid. the prequel remains faithful to the 1982 carpenter's 'the thing', the director managed to tie knots between the 2 films to complete the circle. Director Matthijs also made up some similar scenes that refer to the ones in 1982 film. monster effects although don't look as good as the 1982 film it still send me shivering halfway through the movie. the metamorphosis remains gruesome and unearthly even though its mostly done in CQ and minimal or no monster props. In the end , it's still pretty much fulfilling to watch till the end which will unwrap. this horror sci-fi saga can trully be watched back 2 back as if it was like a 2 part film. the Marathon should last not more than 3 hours of suspense and horror.

i had fever and sore throat before leaving for phuket, then almost a week of fun and less humid thailand, fever came back after a day back in malaysia. Malaysia heat really GG kraap!!

here is a clip where we overtook shaun's honda. Robin later exposed to us that Shaun tried chasing us and keep trying to scare him that he couldn't feel any grip and ignore Robin so he could concentrate on catching us. it was really wet and slippery, as you can see the elise spray mist from its tires on the way up. the Z4 went tail happy at 1 corner. (shown at the end of the video.)

drinking & black outs

Experience another black out lately from my buddy's birthday night. Apparently i had to be carried back to the car and drove home by the birthday boy. Wake up next morning in the back seat of the car not recalling whatever events happen after 12 morning. This should be my 3rd black out to date.
The first was drinking with Bibi's husband, Marcus with Richard and some fellas. had some beers and graveyard then the last thing i remembered was vomiting out from car back seat and then wake up in a room which i thought was Richard's place then only realized i was in the Teo's place.
2nd time was in another friend's house in bangsar, had a bottle of red wine during dinner. Then pass midnight it was my birthday, to celebrate the host's brother brought out his black label and i went on a binge emotional drink until 3 am when the blackout struck again. this time i walked to the car and drove home without any recollection of these events, can't even recall what did i blabber out that morning except i wake up without any clothes on the next day.

it's September! 2 months since Spain won their first world cup and the month where Australia got their 1st Australian female President. of course it also almost 2 months since anyone last posted in this lifeless blog, it's so lifeless like it almost feels like my own personal blog. so our blog creator last post mention something about open house, so did it mean Karen, shaun and Robin's open house or someone open house. well Karen and Shaun already had theirs so now it only boils down to 1 more fella, which i fancy he will have 1 anytime soon.
And congrats to our blog creator who is getting hooked with Mr Sam coming this special 10.10.10 which i will also turn 29 and 1 more year left before i get electrocuted by my own PS3.

hey, CCB! MCH!Oh what the hell, no one can hear me scream...if this blog site was actually a setting in space it would be perfect for a movie set like Aliens.....(with their famous tagline-in space no one can hear you scream)...GET WHAT I MEAN...anyway it's July 2010, my dear Keirin has gotten a nice set of gears but i have yet to push her to her fullest potential...i hope when Catalsym is releases, WOW ingame changes would benefit her built. and this month is July and what to ya know? July 10 is also our former PM Tun Mahathir's Birthday (alternate date or actual date i don't know as he claims muslims have 2 birthdays, being 28th december is his public known birthdate)....and who's birthday also falls on this month....? y.....it's my best pal Robin of Chow...who will be 28 this month on 21st... astrologist often categorize the 'cancerians' as gentle and quiet creatures, but easily fall sick and whiny. Robin quiet? i don't know about that...he is the life of the party, so..... and the fall sick part is quite accurate about him as well as complaining, but i still love you bro! cheers~~! CC out!

woa...its already third day of lunar new year. Had a good time in Phuket the week before.
Find some friends and relatives for formal visits and losing money in customary festive gamble activities. Eating lunar new year junk food and trying not to over eat...

为何我会在那么坏的情況时竟然对一个人有感觉，做工的时候也好。。。打球也好。。。跟朋友们喝杯茶/喝酒也好。。。连当我写着这篇日记时。。。脑海里一直想她。。但我却不知道谈些什么好，认识我的兄弟姐妹朋友们也知道我也很少说话，话从我嘴吧出的时候也是一般废话。。。我们俩也是挺忙的，所以我也不敢随便干扰她。最近也没什么也跟她见面，因为她的新工作很多，时常迟放工。。而且我的情状也差不多一样。。有一次还记得向她表白，但也没得到什么回答。。。也许我对她不够坦白。。不够诚实。。。只可以怪自己-她对我的感觉有疑心。。也许我也对自己也不够坦白，反真这人生里自己也没什么喜欢‘负责’这两个字。。从来也是对父母也是一样糟。。。

现在我只想跟她一直下去做普通朋友也已经满足了，虽然感觉上觉得尴尬。。。我也不再意了。。。如果有其他选择根别人接触，我想我也应该给自己机会去追新目标吧。。。虽然这做法差劲，只要可以忘了这个感觉就好。。只是现在自己又不知道怎么过日子。。。简单说吧。。心里儿只想回去以前为自己想的我就好了，而且自从自己过到这一种感觉，我只总觉得这是多余的。只要抛弃这感觉，这样我就可以集中专心为老人家的公司服务。。。

只是有一部份的我很要这么做。。另一小部份的我还要坚持下去。。。好难过。。

ps3 repairs

Finally after 3 months my dear ps3 was sent back to singapore for repairs thanks to the lighting strike which so great that it somehow still manage to fry my hdmi output even it was off. just waiting for serviceman to arrange the transport back to kl. this repair have cost me around RM200 in courier and SG321 in repairs. although it was pricey, but its still cheaper than getting than a ps3 slim. anyway i dont play much ps3 these days....ever since WOW have eaten up my soul, figuring how to max my toons DPS....sigh

hurray...finally beloved warlock Keirin can do avg 1.2k dps in heroics....now to farm heroics without feeling miserable over the low damage..as for now...to tweak my max lvl dk dps....
